Power to Change – Netherlands – Outreach

Peter and Margre Hays have ministered in northwest Holland for over 30 years. Peter teaches at Tyndale Seminary and Margre is an regional leader for Community Bible Study. They live in an area with more than a quarter of a million people in several small towns, but only 1% have faith in Jesus. For the past 6 years, the Hays have endeavored to reach the communities around them through questionnaires, outreach, and prayer with an initiative they call “Power to Change”. They empower teams of believers to share Jesus through “Power to Change” by directing seekers to the website krachtomteveranderen.nl which has links to churches, testimonies, and other resources to learn about Jesus and His Power to Change lives.

Project Plan

Participants with a heart for Jesus and a willingness to reach out to unbelievers will help promote the Power To Change materials throughout the area surrounding Alkmaar. Volunteers can be young, old, families, couples or singles. While the goals include both prayer and touching locals with Gospel information, Peter and Margre desire to use the gifts and talents of team members to share flyers and conduct brief surveys to reach people in this area with the Good News of Jesus.
